What ever happened to global warming - 06-02-2009

Getting into work this week has been rather challenging. Based not far from the south coast of Sussex we are not used to snow! So it came as something of a shock for Victor to find his car sliding on snow and ice as he drove up the hill on his way to work at Pegasaurus Books. In fact at one point he thought he might have to abandon his very precious car precariously ‘parked’ where is got stuck at the top of hill and walk. Luckily help was soon at hand and he arrived at work a mere 30 minutes late - in good in time to answer your messages and dispatch your orders.

So though in much of the country schools and businesses were closed because travelling became impossible, with London buses not running and train services throughout the south-east of England were badly hit, here at Pegasaurus Books we managed to conduct business as usual. The only break with our regular routine being a restricted Royal Mail afternoon collection which we took in our stride.
